Comments Moderated Now

I meant to mention that I've had to install comment moderation on the blog now. There was an abusive profane comment posted over Christmas which I didn't catch for a couple of days because I was travelling. I really cannot have such material appear on the blog, so comments will have to pass my sharp moderator's eye now before appearing.
Anyhow, I don't get that many comments on this blog, and I will try to check them regularly. I apologize for the inconvenience to my regular commentors who I enjoy and appreciate very much. It is unfortunate that this is necessary, to say the least.

    I'm a young person reading your blog. I found it recently and love it! (I love Priests' blogs and I love and respect Priests very much, too.) I just wanted to thank you for such a great blog. I like to read anything the Holy Father writes. Thank you, Father, and Happy New Year!

      Sorry that happened to you.

      I guess I missed all that.

      Generally, I am most comfortable hearing all the points of view. Because of my broken ness, I need all theologies, all the ways people love and know God. So, I would be disappointed if you were screening for more than language....and knowing that we don't always agree stuff...this thought worries me a little. So, I pray, like I often do...that despite our wounded ness- we can keep our hearts open to each other...all of us.

      No fear - the comment in question was really nothing but a vile personal attack (quite sad, actually). I will never screen for points of view - I LIKE being disagreed with! Makes me think harder! It's GOOD for me!!!
