At least, I need to hear it....as I stand in the world...we are tulips are emerging from under the four inches of new fallen snow,...This world where I am sometimes abruptly...maybe brutally...shaken...and then understand again how I am connected- how we are interconnected- how we are one ...and how fragile...and how radically dependent we each are on these traditions that bring us to that point in the center of our hearts where we can connect with that Love.
Certainly, as we stand in the world today and see it as it is...and look into our own hearts and see them as they are...we understand that anything less than love- I anything judge mental or punitive or reactionary- are just luxuries we can no longer afford. The center of it all is love, and no we are entering into the very center of our faith...May we do so in love....
Here is a Celtic prayer that wended its way to me for Holy Week:
"May the power of God in these sacred days enable me,
the nakedness of God disarm me,
The beauty of God silence me,
The justice of God give me voice,
The integrity of God hold me,
The desire of God move me, the fear of God expose me to truth, the breath of God give me abundant life"
Bless you -and all at MH- these holy days.... I will be looking forward to the posts following....Catherinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668594987436792920.post-29683316316056604642014-04-16T13:59:05.800-04:002014-04-16T13:59:05.800-04:00Thanks Fr.
